Our Adoption Process

All orders are received within 24 hours from the time of payment. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will not be sent until Tuesday, all other orders will be sent out next day. We ship through redline shipping and promise a live arrival guarantee!

We ship through Redline Shipping the live animal transportation experts! Packages are sent through priority overnight or standard overnight(FedEx)in insulated Lacey Act labeled boxes. If you purchase a spiderling it will be housed in a dram vial insulated and padded with soft paper towels so the sling does not get jostled around in the container. Large Spiders will most likely be sent in a insulated and padded delicup giving just enough space for the spider to sit comfortably without the chance of sudden movements or bounces.

Although this is an extremely rare occurrence here at Ghosty’s, we take this very seriously. If you animal arrives on time, and you pick up within 2 hours of delivery to find a deceased animal. Contact us immediately with a brief explanation as well as a photo of the departed in reference to a 25 Cent US coin. You will be fully refunded if these steps are followed. 

We recommend that you do much research before diving into the tarantula hobby, although most of these spiders are very low maintenance and require very little in terms of care, some of our species can live for 20+ years and is a long term commitment. For example if you purchase a spiderling you will need to feed more often, and rehouse into appropriate enclosures as the spider grows. Also tarantulas are very delicate animals and a slight fall or downward pressure can rupture the abdomen of your animal and might even lead to death. All this said if you would like to proceed check out our beginner species section and consider purchasing a spiderling package.
